Trident Balanced Flow Control System

The Trident Balanced Flow Control System has been developed from international technology to meet New Zealand conditions. The system is a true and complete water and water-energy conservation and management system, which enables the building owner to accurately determine and control the use of water from each outlet within a building's hydraulics system.

Trident is a compact Fixed Orifice Flow Control (FOFC) valve which is inserted throughout the water system to provide control over each outlet. The valves control the pressure in the water system whilst at the same time regulating the flow and stabilising the mixed water temperature through each mixer or tap. The valves are manufactured locally from New Zealand made marine grade DR Brass.

Trident is a simple, maintenance free but effective water controlling system where its performance for uninterrupted showers at constant temperature and flow are guaranteed to a very high level of performance.

Trident Balanced Flow Control System can be incorporated into the design for new buildings or building refurbishment, however it is just as easily and effectively retro-fitted to any existing systems. The benefits and savings will be in the same vicinity. It is necessary to allow approximately 4 hours to install and test the Trident system into all the taps and mixers in a single bathroom house or longer for larger buildings. Where appropriate a Certificate of Installation is issued to comply with any statutory requirements particularly any relating to In-ground WasteWater Treatment Plants (TP58)

The Trident Balanced Flow Control System has been independently inspected and monitored to asses the performance of the systems in many buildings and to calculate the savings in both water and energy which would accrue if Trident were to be installed. These independent test results indicated that a reduction in water use of ± 20%-25% is normally achieved after the Trident FOFC valves have been installed.

The Trident Balanced Flow Control System is guaranteed for 5 years.
